1.ニュース

(Update 2) Japan Daily Coronavirus Tally Rebounds above 1,000

   Tokyo, Nov. 5 (Jiji Press)--Japan's daily tally of newly confirmed coronavirus cases came to 1,048 on Thursday, rising above 1,000 for the first time since Aug. 21.
   In the northern prefecture of Hokkaido, 119 people were newly confirmed as positive for the novel coronavirus, including 93 in Sapporo, the prefecture's capital.
   The daily count in Hokkaido surpassed 100 for the first time, after rewriting its record high on Saturday, at 81, and on Monday, at 96.
   In Tokyo, the daily number of new cases came to 269 on Thursday, bouncing back above 200 for the first time in two days.
   In the western prefecture of Shiga, 21 new cases were reported, marking the first figure above 20 since Aug. 7

2.　感想

There are 2 reasons why Japan's daily tally of newly confirmed coronavirus cases came to 1,048.
1. It  has been gettting cold and dry since Nov. People are subject to colds in winter.
Hokkaido is the coldest area in Japan.
So it has the second most people confirmed as positive for the novel coronavirus

2. More and more people have traveled in Japan for past 3 months because our government started "go to campaign" and encourages us to travel in Japan.

Japan opens airport coronavirus test lab for departing travellers

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan’s largest airport opened a novel coronavirus testing facility on Monday as it takes steps to reopen international travel that has been largely grounded for months by the pandemic.

The Narita International Airport PCR Center is aimed at outbound travellers who need proof that they are virus-free when they arrive at their destinations.

Japan on Friday eased travel curbs for nine Asian countries and regions.

Narita is one of two international hubs serving the Greater Tokyo area.
